Senior Client Closet
Every session includes more than one outfit and for one or more of those outfits, you get to raid my client closet. Included in every senior session as a complimentary service, it’s like having a personal designer. You get to pick your favorites online and I help you to curate a wardrobe perfect for your session. My client closet has:
over 100 gowns exclusively from high-end designers that design gowns specifically for senior photoshoots, so that your photos can be a showstopper
most are “one-size-fits-all”, with plus sizes available
curated to only include dresses that look great in the Colorado wilderness and with my editing, so you don’t get surprised when you receive your final photos
a variety of different styles, looks, and colors from boho to modern to classic to goth
accessories like jewelry, floral crowns, sunburst crowns, wraps, belts, and much more
your items will be laundered and ready to look great on you during your session
Senior Photoshoot Locations
I wish locations just fell in my lap, but, alas, they do not. So I spend days worth of time each year scouring the state of Colorado for the best jaw-dropping backdrops this state has to offer.
When we start designing your session, I’ll send you location overviews for my favorite locations in Colorado. You’ll find:

behind the scenes at a photo session with me
you’ll see that it is very relaxed. I build in buffer time, so we’re not rushed. I have your session planned out to the last detail, so that we make the most out of your session.
I accomplish this through a streamlined, but thorough, design process. One where we collaborate together. Because I know photography and you know how you want your photos to make you feel.
I want your session to be a success just as much as you do and I know how to get us there.
The Senior Photo Experience

Learn the Details
Reach out to see if I’m available and to get more information. If you like what you learn, we have a virtual chat. An easy peasy 15 minute call over video chat online. We meet. You ask the questions and I answer. You decide if you want to book. If you do, you pay the sitting fee, sign my contract, and we’re set.

Session Styling and Design Meeting
Immediately after booking, I send you a questionnaire asking what you’re looking for in your session. You get to peruse my client closet, while I scout locations for you.
Before your session, we have a 30 minute virtual meeting. We finalize your gown choices, the location, style the clothes for all participating members of your family, and review how to prepare for your session. This means not having to put all this together on your own, midnight before your session. Far less stress!

Your Session
We meet at the location and take a few minutes to get ready. I’ve already planned for clothes changes and the flow for your session, so that we capture everything you want out of your session without any rush or stress.
We head out to the photo spots, hang out, and get beautiful images. You get to stroll in the wilderness, while I guide you every step of the way.

Slideshow and Ordering Period
Within a couple days of your session, I send you a sneak peek. Within a few short weeks, your final gallery is ready.
You’ll first see all the edited images from your session in a professionally composed slideshow. You choose your digital image collection, download your images files, and decide if you want an album.
Senior Photography

Feel awkward in front of the camera? No worries. Most people do, including me. I’ll guide you through everything, so that you’re never wondering what you’re supposed to be doing while you stand there.

You won’t have to worry about a thing at your session. I’ll have the whole session planned out, so that we capture the poses you most want with more backdrops than you can ever want.

If you can’t tell from my photography, I’m known for my backdrops. I know how to capture both the backdrop and you, so that both look amazing and you are still the focus of the photo.

When you receive your gallery, all of the images will be hand edited one-by-one by me. Why does it matter? Because even Ai can’t do as well as I can.

I’ve taken care of everything from acne to raccoon bites. If I can photoshop it, I’ll take care of it for you.
Session Design

This is my day job, so I spend hours upon hours every year scouring the entire state for locations that will make your jaw drop.

I will help you figure out what clothes you should wear to make your style shine and celebrate who you are. If you feel like wearing a dramatic dress, I have that covered too. I have over 100 show-stopping dresses that you can utilize during your session.

We’ll discuss during your design meeting what poses are special to you and we should make sure to capture. I’ll plan the session around those requests and make the most of the location you have chosen, so that you have more images you love than you can imagine.

Your session will be personalized to you. Beyond making sure all the poses you want are captured, we can incorporate things that are special to you as a person. Like Star Wars? Why not have a light saber in a few photos. This session is for you and only you.
Planning/Consultation

Want to get your hair and make-up done professionally? I have a list of hair and make-up artists that have been used by my previous clients and are loved by them.

We’ll have designated times we’ll meet, like your design meeting, but I don’t just disappear outside of that. You will have my phone number so you can text/call with any questions that come up at any time of the process.

Yes, we’re there to capture photos. But this is also your opportunity to take a moment and enjoy this milestone. We won’t be rushing. You’ll have time to enjoy the snuggles and the quality time together too.

I include digital image files in all my collections, but photos are meant to be printed and enjoyed. I offer album services and guidance for printing for that very reason.

After your session, you’ll have access to my archiving resources to make sure those photos will last the ages.
