Smooth and Easy School Photo Day Process

You’re busy teaching and guiding the next generation. Let me take care of photo day. Here are just some of the things I do for my schools:

Planning the photo day so it works with your school day and environment
All parent correspondence from reminder emails and fliers to questions
Private and custom webpage that serves as a reliable resource for parents, teachers and administrators
Parent prep, so they know what to expect throughout the process and have little to no questions

Quality School Photos

A portrait can make or break a person’s self-confidence. For far too long, school photos have been the latter. I strive to be the former. These should be images that kiddos are proud of and parents cherish. That’s why I don’t photograph like others. I do things differently by:

not making the background changeable. This is horrible for portrait quality. A high quality portrait has a backdrop that clothes can be coordinated with. It shouldn’t be kitschy. It should be complementary.
providing resources for parents to choose clothes appropriate for the season and the backdrop, so that it is their children that shine and not the clothes.
spending time with each kiddo, so that we capture genuine smiles and their wonderfully unique personalities.
taking the time to get to know your school and build a photo day process that works with it instead of being a disruption.

behind the scenes at a photo day with me

you’ll see that it is very relaxed. I build in buffer time, so I can spend enough time with each student to warm them up, get comfortable, and give me those expressions that we as parents crave.

We’ll craft a photo day that works seamlessly with your school. It will feel as though photo day always belonged and not disrupt classroom flow or time.

My photo day flow will be just as quick as the larger companies, but you’ll find that I deliver much more. Students and their families can expect 2-5 poses for their gallery with their images in both color and black and white. I’ll get a variety of expressions, so as to capture child’s personality and genuine smiles.

We’ll chat either in person or over video call to discuss your school needs further and see if we’re the right fit for each other.
Before Photo Day

Once I have a student roster and parent emails to match, I’ll take over from there.
Your school will have a custom made page on the back side of my website that your school and parents can access, but still maintains the privacy of your students. I’ll send out that page, as well as helpful tips, preparation information, and reminders for photo day myself, so nothing gets added to your already heavy workloads as administrators.
Photo Day

All I ask for is a little space to make beautiful photos. I’ll bring everything needed and have everything planned out and shared with you prior to photo day, so you know what to expect. Just bring me the students and I’ll take over from there.
Post-Photo Day

Since I already have your student roster and parent emails in hand, I’ve got this covered. Ordering and delivery of orders to your school will be covered by me.
I’ll make sure to keep you in the loop, but that’s it. I’ll take care of everything else and deliver a smooth ordering process for your students and their families.
