Step 2: Watch for an Email From Me

Within 2-3 business days, I’ll follow up to confirm that the date you have chosen is available and appropriate. If it is, I’ll also include my full price list for mini sessions and instructions on how to reserve your date.

If you do not receive an email from me within 5 business days, please reach out to me. Emails can be finicky sometimes and I’d hate for you to lose the spot, because of a spam filter.

 
 

Step 3: Book Your Session

Follow the instructions in my follow-up email to complete the sitting fee payment and contract. There will be a deadline to get those completed and still be able to retain your time slot. Once the contract and invoice have been completed, paid, and submitted, your mini session is booked. You’ll then receive information from me about preparing for your session, what to expect, and specific location directions. See you at your mini session!

  • This calendar only shows the next 45 days. If you’re looking for a spot beyond those 45 days, fill out this form instead. I’ll then notify you first before I release that time period to the public, so you’ll get first dibs.

    If the time period you’re looking for above is appearing, but the exact dates don’t work, feel free to also fill out the same form and letting me know what you’re looking for. If there is a cancellation that works for you, I’ll let you know first.

  • At this time I am only offering mini sessions during the week, the hour before sunset.

  • The start times very because they are based on sunset. Sunset times change gradually throughout the year and drastically at points of the biannual time change.

  • The start time is based on the sunset, so it cannot be changed. I only shoot outdoor sessions during the golden hour, which happens right before sunset.

    If a start time doesn’t work with your schedule, I recommend considering a different season and/or waiting until a time change for your session.

  • It does not reserve your session time. It merely holds it until I can respond to your request and the grace period I grant for completing the contract and invoice has elapsed. If both the contract isn’t signed and the invoice isn’t paid by the end of that grace period, the time slot you chose will be released back to the public.

  • Please feel free to include them in the form associated with the calendar. I will address them in my response to your time slot request.

  • I can promise any sessions that take place on Nov 12 or earlier will get their images back before Thanksgiving.

  • Obviously I can’t tell the future, but the time when the fall color was at its height at my mini session locations in 2021 was around Oct. 20.

  • Fall is the busy season for family portrait photographers. My fall mini sessions do sell out, so the earlier the better.
